How do I purchase SPINS' retail measurement data?
Our retail measurement services are available by channel and by category. SPINSscan Natural and SPINSscan Specialty Gourmet track sales in natural and specialty gourmet product supermarkets, respectively, and SPINSscan Conventional covers mainstream Food, Drug, and Mass Merchandisers (FDM), Walmart, and Sam's Club, in addition to other club, military and dollar stores. Purchase either a snapshot, which is one time static view of the market, or an ongoing subscription of 52-month aggregated data delivered monthly or quarterly. Custom reports are also available.

Does SPINS sell store level information?
Yes. All of our key accounts release a manufacturer's brands/items at the store level. For those stores who do not share store level information, we do not report this information to anyone but the associated Retailer Partner.
How much historical data does SPINS have?
Historical data is available for SPINSscan Natural & Key Accounts, SPINSscan Specialty Gourmet & Key Accounts and SPINSscan Conventional dating back three years. Data for SPINSscan Conventional Key Accounts is available for two historical years.
Is SPINS data projected?
Yes. We use a stratified sample that is projected to represent the universe of Natural and Specialty Product Supermarkets. Currently, we are sampling from better than one out of every three stores across both the natural and specialty universes.
Are regional reports available?
SPINS offers an 8-region break-out for the Natural Channel, 3-region break-out for the Specialty Gourmet Channel, and 52 different food markets in our SPINSscan Conventional service.
