SPINS and INFRA Announce Expanded Partnership and Key Account Service
SCHAUMBURG, IL October 6, 2008 – SPINS, the leading information and service provider for the Natural Products Industry, announced a new partnership with the Independent Natural Food Retailers Association (“INFRA”), an association of independent natural food retailers. The association is represented by both well known chains and single and multiple location independent stores in the Natural Products Industry. According to the new agreement, SPINS and INFRA will launch a key account data service, representing 56 of its locations and annual sales of over $280 million, providing category, brand and item-level information, specific to the Association. The new fact-based information service will enable INFRA’s and its retail members to work more effectively with their vendors and business partners.
INFRA is a cooperative owned by a network of independent natural food retailers operating 56 71 stores across the U.S with annual sales over $ 280 418 million and demonstrating strong sales growth of ten percent over the previous year.
