SPINS and NASFT Announce Partnership
SCHAUMBURG, IL June 26, 2009 – SPINS, the leading information and service provider for the Natural Products Industry, has announced a new partnership with the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT). The NASFT is a not-for-profit business trade association benefiting the specialty food industry and supporting over 2,900 member companies. The two companies will collaborate to provide their members with information and resources for the specialty and gourmet grocery channel.
By uniting with SPINS and endorsing the development of SPINS’ new Specialty Gourmet grocery channel POS reporting service, the NASFT will advance its knowledge of the natural, organic, and specialty products arena, while leveraging SPINS’ industry expertise to better support the manufacturers, importers, distributors, brokers, retailers, restaurateurs and other specialty food-related members in the association.
